Description

Visor cap for German Army(ies), made of wool with wollen band and piping and hand-stitched lining made of cotton satin. Visors are made of red fiber, painted black and finished with wax.

The cap can be made in various colors. “Prussian Infantry” cap will be the same as for any other State but Bavaria. “Technical” cap has black band and red piping and is proper for Pioniere/Artillerie, etc.

For other than listed – please text me on fb first (for color availability) and use “other” and text in Order Notes:
1. main wool color (e.g. Prussian blue/Bavarian blue/Jägergrün/red/white/etc…)
2. band color and fabric (e.g. red velvet/Kornblumenblau wool/black wool)
3. piping color and type (e.g. only above the band and in the crown – same as band, above and below the band and in the crown – yellow, etc.)

There are three basic shapes available:
– standard (with front stiffener only)
– stiff crown (with 4 stiffeners) and high profile
– 1860s style (lower profile and shorter visor)

You may also like to have it in different shape than those above (e.g. Tellermütze shape, popular in early 1900s). It is possible, but I charge +30% extra for custom-made. (Take a look below)
